How do SignalTEK CT's Instant Data Cable Test Reports Work?

The SignalTEK CT can generate digital test reports instantly, giving you a way of proving that installed links run at recommended Gigabit Ethernet transmission rates whilst on site. In addition, the SignalTEK CT can produce test reports in either PDF or CSV format, depending on user preference. The summary page of each report can even be customised to include logo, company and operator details. Technicians also have the choice between 3 different report formats; summary (list of each test with pass or fail); brief (summary data per test) and full (one test per page with full test details).

Easily Share Data Cable Test Reports

Cable installers and IT Technicians can now share difficult problems with colleagues not located onsite to improve productivity and minimise downtime, using the free IDEAL AnyWARE™ app. By connecting the app to your IDEAL cable or network tester using Wi-Fi it's possible to transfer test reports to your mobile device. Once data is transferred, users can view the reports and send them using their preferred method, including email or file sharing app. Reports can also be sent to the client as soon as the job is complete, demonstrating proof of performance. The hassle of connecting to local Wi-Fi is eliminated to provide a superior user experience because the IDEAL tester serves as a Wi-Fi hotspot. In addition to the SignalTEK CT, the IDEAL AnyWARE app is also supported by the SignalTEK® NT, NaviTEK® NT and LanTEK® III.
